The common daily ritual of picking food, piling it in containers,
can create beautiful relationships between the shapes.

Consider the iron as a three dimensional sketch
defining the container within which to consider the
beauty of these forms and their shadows.

Pears and apples have sensual curves
and satisfying shape in the hand.

They have stature in mythologies,
religions and stories from the beginning of time.

They are very luscious, seductive, feminine fruit which
remain elegant and a bit mysterious while being common
in some form on every continent of the world.

An egg is the most basic form of life;
it is echoed in the shape our head.

Un-natural glaze colors further emphasize
the sculptural beauty of each shape.

The larger sculpture, created by all the shapes and
the spaces between, is seen and understood because
of a suggested rather than a solid container.
